My truck was sagging almost 1 inch lower on the passenger side. You could see if from behind.

Put some twist-in coil spring boosters for now, until I get to buying new springs. Now the passenger side is only 1/8" lower.

The other day, Lady Chatterly (78 F150) fired right up, and we started down the road. 100 yards later, rpms dropped and she died. Couldn’t get her restarted, so I pushed her back to the driveway. Had some time to check her out yesterday, end the electric fuel pump ain’t pumping. Ordered a new one from Summit

The passenger door latch had been sticking on the 77, so I pulled the old door panels, cleaned and lubricated the latch assemblies, and installed new panels and insulation pads from Bronco Graveyard. The panels don’t fit perfectly, but they’re a great improvement!

Upgraded the headlights in the 79 with an H4 kit from Bronco Graveyard. Haven’t driven in the dark yet, but they seem brighter!

FYI those can pop out and be a traffic behind you hazard or cost you more $ to get more when they are lost. Especially if you go over some whoop tee do's in the road way. Quick fix, drill a small hole in the part where there is a flat edge and run a piece of wire and tie it off to the coil spring.

Swapped out the manual transmission fluid. Used Valvoline 75-90 Synthetic. Transfer case is next. Maybe next week end if the weather is good.

Thanks for the tip. I am actually concerned one of them popping out and cutting my brake line...

I plan on getting a set of new springs soon. Looks like Oriellys has some for $160, and Autozone I can get some Duralast ones for $109?

Re soldered the resistors to get the radio face plate to light up and function again.

Finally got my tachometer light hooked up. Got the tach hooked up a few weeks ago but was trying to dial the carburetor in and just needed it to work. I didn't want to just hook it up to a switched wire and have the light on constantly while the truck was running. Got everything apart and found the wire that gets hot when the headlights are turned on and got it hooked up. Anytime I have the time, I make a quick video and share it for like-minded folks to make life a little easier. I don't do it for views or money, just to pass a little information on. :-X22

Deadly. Many thanks for making the video.

I was wondering which wire I need to splice into for my gauges and tach. Thanks! :-X22

Well a few weeks ago I bought a "new" to me 77 F100 Ranger XLT. 400/C6 factory A/C. Engine was seized when I bought it, filled it full of MMO and let it sit a week. Engine broke free, still stiff but not terrible afterwards. Threw in new spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Changed the oil and got rewarded with about three quarts of water in the pan. Makes me a little concerned with how the bottom end must look, but I'm hoping nothing was hurt.

Had to leave it sitting for a week or so due to weather and work, but went back to see if I could get it to fire up. It fought me every step of the way, would not fire off fuel, and it seemed like the starter was dragging over as well. Thankfully, I had a spare starter at the shop so I swapped that into the truck. With a liberal application of starter fluid and a hot battery I finally got it to start up today! It ran rough as hell, but at least it ran.

Going to go back hopefully next week some time and fill the radiator, change the thermostat and a few other things. Cannot wait to get it back on the road!

That's a heck of a nice shine you got there.

Thanks, thats original paint. PO added a layer of clear coat. Would've liked to have seen it before that. I know a lot of people don't like it but it sure does make it shine.

That is one nice lookin rig. Love the dog dish caps on the steels. If I did not have the Hurricanes on mine I probably would have done that as well. I just always loved that look.

That doesn't sound good. Bearings are probably rusted even...
