Congratulations! Glad you're still with us and keeping our trucks on the road :)

Can you give a reference for the bulbs?
And it looks like you have good taste in beer.

The bulbs are Sylvania 194SLBP. Or 168SLBP:

Thanks! Stone has discontinued my favorite brew, so I'm holding auditions for a new favorite:

I haven't been working on the truck yet since I am still trying to finish my Mustang project but I did pull the steering wheel today so I could swap it and a few bucks for a much better one.

Lil things

Knocking out little things while I wait for the correct modulator for the tranny.... Put on inspection plate for the C6.... removed all wiring from the PO's trailer brake controller and installed new brake light switch and I now have brake lights ! Took out silly bucket seats, prepping for the bench seat install this coming weekend...... Oh and got 4 foot of vacuum hose for the incoming modulator........

Removed aftermarket AC stuff that was under the hood (inside the dash is next), replaced battery terminals, fixed bushings on both doors and in the process of fixing hood latch.

New hinge pins, bushings, and door striker bolts.

After installing these on both sides and getting everything readjusted, it is an enormous difference. Can't believe I waited this long to do it.

I bought them off ebay. MADE IN USA Door Hinge Pin & Bushing Repair Kit / FOR 1975-1979 FORD TRUCK | eBay for the hinge pins made in the usa. The door striker bolts you are like the ones in the help section at the local parts house. I got them from ebay as well though. Door Latch Striker Bolt Pair Set for Ford Van Pickup Truck Lincoln Mercury | eBay

I had bought a set of cheaper ones and they felt really light to me. These are higher, but they seem to be stainless steel. This truck is my DD. I didn't want to take a chance on the flimsy ones so I took them back to the O'reilly's and bought these. Figured I'd at least try them out. So far I'm extremely pleased.

Taught the kiddo how to check resistance on an ignition coil. 2ndary is busted. Bummer, but maybe she'll start now!
