here you go..sorry for the fuzzy pic but it was trying to run...lol
youll notice all the brown rust. Did I mention that once I cut the old welds off that it had rusted to the receiver inside and I had to use a whole can of wd40 and take a BF Hammer to it for about 20 minutes..

Pulled the valve covers off the 351M. Found 2 missing pushrods and this:

Could have easily captioned that as: pulled valve cover off and picked nose.

More body work and some primer. Shaved the antennae and going to shave the side markers.

It is rather booger-esque, isn't it, lol.

Found the missing push rods with my telescoping magnet.

Removed, rebuilt and replaced power steering gear. Also replaced a squeaking blower motor... what a pain in the A$$

Oil change, greased the U-joints and front end, and tightened the loose exhaust donut... and I have a leak.

have a 75 f100. would like to swap out the trans for a 5 speed. what's involved? is it just R&R transmissions? is it worth it and is it worth the cost?

......sigh......I put out a dash fire with a fire extinguisher.

I also put on a dual steering stabilizer, epoxied my shift knobs down, and then, after, put out a dash fire with an extinguisher. Probably moving from a daily driver to a rewireing cab project. ;'(

Ordered some parts for the first time in a long time.

Gearing up to continue my build :-X22

Not today, but Tuesday morning I took a ride into town only to discover my factory style fuel filter spraying gas handily onto the intake manifold.

Replaced that in the parking lot at NAPA.

Then later that afternoon while out for another little run into town the starter gave up the ghost shorting out internally and smoked off.

Replaced that in the parking lot of a prospective employer.

Fun, fun...

Thanks a bunch for the support Brother!!

It happened just as I was leaving to go out of town on business.

I took about three days and when I got back I put in a claim (have comprehensive insurance on the truck). I don't know how much they are going to pay for, but the truck is headed for the shop on the tow truck now.

TL DR: Regrouped, and putting it in shop for FIX.
