I tried to get the passenger valve cover on to replace the gasket but it is stuck. I'll probably try again tomorrow. Any tips? I already beat it with a mallet and tried to pry it but it's not budging.

Blown head gasket

Blew out the Drivers side head gasket, just what I needed, was planning on rebuilding the motor, guess that is going to happen sooner than later... What sucks is the weather just broke here in Western PA, warm, sunshine, low humidity...

Hauled some stuff to the recycle yard. Then went after the heat riser on the passenger side, Then took the plugs out and checked them for cracks and to see how they were burning.

Completed the restoration (well, they are never "done", but got it good enough to drive) and took the tow truck to it's first outing at our little Saturday night car show at the local Home Depot:

2013 Stx 2.5 rough country leveling kit

I ordered my first project for my first brand new vehicle. My 2013 F150 stx is about to get leveled out its at 40,000 miles and I am looking to beef it up with this kit and a new set of aggressive but still street worthy tires I am keeping the stock wheels and I am in need of any recommendations for what size and type of tire. I don't wanna go to crazy to the point I have to make adjustments to read the right speed, but I am sure yall have some god input that'll help. Thanks

NO need to apologize, we all make a wrong turn every so often. An all terrain tire will last much longer than a pure mud tread tire.

Ck this out to look at rim options. http://www.bigotires.com/Wheel-Visualizer

I drove my '76 F100 for the first time.
Drove 30 miles and ended up with a list of stuff that needs attending to that is about a mile long.

Don't feel bad. Took me over 6 hours to install my windshield without that special tool.
