I dont mean to hijack, but i grabbed the switch and delay box from my 89 donor truck, and was wondering if i can make this work with my 79 non delay wiper motor? Havent dug into the dash yet as mine is an a/c truck just wondering if anyones knows off the top of thier head.

I used the switch and delay box out of an 84 Bronco in my 77,and it works perfect with the factory non delay wiper motor.

Harryboxnoogle I know a 80 to 86 will work on your 79 never tried a newer one than that. You will just need to change the washer pump wire around but it will work. Only thing other than that is the shaft is about 1/4" longer but installed hard to notice that.

answer for the wiring using later model stuff is in one of these. I have all 3 saved as "intermitent wipers" and I'm not gonna look through all 3 for you to determine which it is.

1980-1991 F-series and Bronco intermitant wiper switches and govenor modules are a direct swap.

If you change the washer pump wire around, it will also work 1973-1979.
