92-97 Clear Turn signal Lense!!!!!!?????
I am rebuilding a 94 F-350, i so badly want clear turn signal lenses for my truck, however i cant find them anywhere, thought i'de jump over to you bronco guys to see if ya all know where i can find them, i have looked online for months now with no luck, have tried ebay and everyother source i can find, please help, i know that body style has not been made for 13 years but someone should still have some sittn around somewhere....
thanks... |
I would try e-bay again for that, use the word "euro" in your searchs.
P.S.: Please don't do that to your truck...:-missingt |
My 93 has clear front turn signal lenses... personally, I think it cleans up the nose a lot... the ambe just adds another color that doesn't need to be there. My galleries show them. Run a Google search on them... lots of folks carry them.
|
I'm w/ greystreak on this. It's the euro brake lights that look like total crap...
Here's my front, these are the euro crystal style heads and turns, couldn't find anyone doing the same for the corner lens(?). I'd like to change the chrome trim/bezels to black painted as soon as I find a good set. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...id=224979&.jpg https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...id=224980&.jpg Yes, my pictures suck. |
|
I don't like those lenses at all, yet the grille of monkei looks great.
|
See, now we are into personal tastes because you couldn't pay me to put the grille that Monkei is running on mine. However, I do like the crystal version of the signal lenses. Mine are just like the ones in NASSTY's photo however.
|
I like my grill better than stock plastic, but I've considered reverting back to one, but in black (like on lightnings). I put it on long before everyone and their mother started putting billet grilles on everything. It's a thin-slat solid grill instead of the cheap extruded e-channel stuff. It needs to be remounted more flush with the headlights and stuff.
Yup, we are definitely in some very subjective territory. |
Still i prefer the truck bare stock, concerning appearance, so i wouldn't place neither the griller nor the lenses (personally i would rather spend the money on performance upgrades).
|
DieselE,
Were you ever able to find any lenses for your truck? I'm looking for them now since I crashed mine :( |
I bought these crystal corner lenses, have yet to install them.
|
My clear turn signal lenses are just like the original lenses except for being clear. I bought mine off ebay also. Mine are about 6yrs. old. Here's a pair of the euro lenses, on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-96...item414d20cdee Kenny

Not that it matters, but I have to admit if I had a 92 - 96, it'd be getting the clear lenses. It looks really sharp and not the slightest bit "blingy".
|
thanks guys, I think I'm gonna go with those crystal clears.
|
Last I checked you could get them from LMC Truck without having to try to outbid anyone... Just a thought.
|
I like the look of mine.. but the gap between the bottom lenses and the headlight is a lot larger than factory.. only thing I don't like.

https://www.supermotors.net/getfile/...e/img_1668.jpg I got mine originally from LMC. I don't think they sell them anymore, but they sell other similar stuff. Maybe you could call them and ask them who makes them. Ebay has them from time to time. |

That Bronco looks sweet! I have those clear parking lights that match the other lights too. In my opinion they are the only way to go. They rest are too "tuner" looking.

I got mine off of Ebay about 6 months ago and made a big diffence in the look of the truck. Here's a pic.

I got mine on Ebay also and installed them after I had the truck painted,I like them it gives a cleaner newer look. I just wish ( like everyone else has said) that I could find the clear corner light but the diamond cut is not bad. I still have a lightning valance to install.

That Bronco looks nice. The clear frosted sidemarker light is factory and should be easy to find. It looks like you already have the factory looking clear turnsignal/parking lights.
Here ya go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-96...item35a84987c3 |

Thanks, they are the ones I have ( came with the headlights), I was looking for the clear one's that are like my headlights.
Honestly I would go back to the OE style headlights and have everything match, but thats just me. I think the lights on the white and silver bronco pictured above looks the best. Thats how I have mine. The only aftermarket light assemblies that look good on our trucks are the clear parking lights that match the other lights and maybe the crystal headlights. Here is mine. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...id=224903&.jpg |
Yes the turn signal/parking lights are just like the OEM but clear and I like them that way but I would like total clear on the corner lights like my head lights are. I don't like the corner lights that came with my head lights I think they have a poor fit and finish. I bought a set of completely clear corner lights from a seller on ebay but that turned out to be a total mess with him being thrown off as he never had them and was just scamming people for cash.
I really like your front bumper with the lights built in, where did you find that I never seen one before only the rear bumpers. |

Here is a pic of the ones I got off of ebay: http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/7...e/p1010432.jpg I like them. I just wish the gaps between the side markers and the amber was smaller.. I'm thinking of just going back to factory. |
Thanks. The bumper is what the Eddie Bauer trucks and some F250 and F350 trucks had. I think its first appeared on 94 trucks. Mine originally came with the regular bumper with the impact strip.
The lights I have that fit perfect are Hella 550. There is a hole on the back top of the bumper that is almost centered above the openings in the bumper. I made my own brackets and offset them slightly to center the lights. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...id=223761&.jpg |
