Thanks for the pic!! That is one sweet looking truck! Looks like it has been smoothed out. No drip rails, no cab seams, no hood seam.
Did you happen to get any info on this beauty?!

tacson 01-02-2010 09:32 AM

Sorry, I didnt. Normally when something catches my eye I do get the info off the the window sticker

Yes that is a '73-'79 hood...
Great lookin' truck!
Like the color...

Interesting, so will the 73-79 hoods bolt right up to 67-72 hood hinges??

76f350spercamprspeal 01-02-2010 10:22 PM

I'm not sure, most likely...

bmuhlbach 01-03-2010 09:09 AM

i've heard they will and you can put 73-79 inner fenders on the67-72 need to have the hood hinges and the connecters to the cab from the 73-79

I have inner fenders and hinges from a 73-79 on my 70. (It came that way) The 73-79 hinges are on the inner side of the inner fenders as the 67-72 are on the outer side. Not too many people notice at first.

Front bumper is different, too. Maybe the gas tank was moved.....looks like it. Has anyone checked the galleries lately?? Here is a 68 show truck in red. 1968 Ford F100 4x2 - Mike Nagatani's 1968 F100

man just seeing all these creampuff trucks makes me want to drool all over the keyboard. i cant wait to start working on my truck. its a matter of getting all my ducks in a row. i got myself another daily driver to use so i can take the f100 off the road, i've budgeted time to do it, now i need to budget money and get a garage to do it in.

vortilon 01-05-2010 07:06 AM

That is a nice looking truck but I think the springs are worn out.
