Hey Steve, Happy New Year!!!

tin-man 01-01-2010 09:10 AM

Next time you visit SC, stick around long enough for a cup of coffee?

Steve GG 01-01-2010 09:55 AM

David, I would but trying to get ready for work. Some of us don't get the day off. Got to put in 8 hours. In a couple weeks I may be back to part time. Right now we are a skeleton crew with two people on vacation. They are supposed to try and hire a few more people this month.

tin-man 01-01-2010 09:59 AM

Hey!! I am glad you have a job, a lot of people I know don't!!

tin-man 01-01-2010 09:59 AM

I would'nt mind having ONE myself!! LOL

Steve GG 01-01-2010 07:46 PM

You can do like I did and get a part time job at Lowe's...

tin-man 01-01-2010 08:04 PM

Believe me, if I could I would!! But I would go back into the HVAC field.

Steve GG 01-01-2010 08:09 PM

My zone manager keeps wanting me to go full time. I told her if I could stay a loader and work the closing shift I would really think about it.

tin-man 01-01-2010 09:30 PM

Go for it!! I think I would like that, I know I would like too help people!!

Steve GG 01-01-2010 09:54 PM

She can't make that decision. She said it is up to HR and the store manager.

tin-man 01-01-2010 09:56 PM

Well hopefully they will and soon!!

Steve GG 01-01-2010 10:37 PM

I was pushing for them to make the other person full time but she really isn't impressed with his work. He needs the full time job more than I. Being part time I have insurance and some other benefits so I am in pretty good shape that way.

tin-man 01-01-2010 10:38 PM

But if they don't want him!!

Steve GG 01-01-2010 10:45 PM

I know, I guess if I can stay a loader and stay on the closing shift I will go for it. If Joe , HR person, is at work tomorrow I will talk to him about it. A loader takes about 1/10 the test of anybody. I did sign up for nursery level 1 so I could learn more about plants, fertilizers and such.
