Phil, Also sorry to here about your Grandmother, also my condolences to you and your family.

Oldtrucknut7077 12-13-2009 06:24 PM

I wish to take this time to thank all that made it to York for the GTG. You were all brave souls to make it there! Thank you to (in order of arrival) Arlene, Shaun, Ronnie, Eric, Mike, Bill, & Chris for being there. You made this GTG successful! Thank you to Mike for doing what you did.

Pictures to be posted shotly!

Phil - sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing...certainly understandable that you couldn't make it down today as a result.

Joe - I would entertain something like what you suggested if weather permitted of course. Always a lot to consider there...lol.

It's always good to be home, but it was great to see/meet everyone and hang out for a while. Little bit of slow going coming back in a bit of fog on the mountain, but otherwise an uneventful trip.

Mike, thank you as well for what you did today...

Time for a quick meal then it's back out the door to play taxi...lol.

cbradford 12-13-2009 07:15 PM

Bill, Glad you made it back home OK.

liftnw8z 12-13-2009 07:31 PM

Thanks Chris - was 78 opened back up or did you have to go the long way again?

78 was open, so I made it home in 1hr an 50min. All roads going home were just wet, some spotty fog but not too bad.

liftnw8z 12-13-2009 07:42 PM

Took me a little over 3 hours, close to 3-1/2 total to get back here, but about 35 minutes or so of that was chewed up by a stop at the grocery store and for fuel. Spotty fog, no rain to speak of til I started up the mountain. If only it could have been so good heading out! lol

Oldtrucknut7077 12-13-2009 07:58 PM

To my knowledge, everyone is home safely. Thanks again for the updates guys.

Arlene 12-13-2009 08:18 PM

Yep, back safely - thanks to all who turned a cold rainy day into a fun road trip~

Scott for putting this together, Mike - much appreciated! , and Shaun, Eric, Ronnie, Bill & Chris for welcoming the 'chick with a truck' from DE.

Can't wait to do it again... :)

frdf250 12-13-2009 08:57 PM

fire240 12-14-2009 09:09 AM

Phil sorry to hear of your grandmothers passing. I had some spotty fog on the way home guys. but was home by 1730 hrs.

big poppa 12-14-2009 11:52 AM

Glad to hear everybody had a great time, anytime a bunch of good folks and Ford truck owners to boot GTG, it is a great time indeed. Glad everybody made it home safe and sound.

F250army45d 12-14-2009 12:46 PM

Hey it was great getting together and every one is more then welcome, Glad everyone made it home safe and sound I know in my twenty minute ride I hit some fog hanging in the valley so it wasn't bad. I know I was getting a little chilly standing in the parking lot but it was worth it to see the nice rides yall brought to the GTG.

Arlene who doesn't like a chick with a nice truck.

Well I hope we can get together again some time till then Ill see you all in the BS forum.

Oldtrucknut7077 12-14-2009 02:54 PM

Again, I must thank all who were there yesterday. It really was a great time despite the weather. That air did get a little too raw especially after standing out in the rain, but thats life! I would like to have another one after the holidays again. Any suggestions???
