Pretty close. My roof sprang a bad leak and sheet rock fell about 2 feet from my head about 20 minutes ago.

Glad you all made it thru okay, not everyone was as blessed!! I went through there on Saturday and it was raining cats and dogs then, hard rain!!

I'm in Villa Rica/Temple. The biggest inconvenience we had was I-20 and other major roads being shut down because they were under water. The dealership I work at on Thornton Rd was closed for 2 days because nobody could get here...then the traffic, ugh! Traffic is still a bear because side roads are still closed so EVERYone is on the highway.

Oh and the water boil thing. Bleh. We lost water for a day or so, too.

But other than that...truck survived safely in the garage.

I am sad to report that my aunts 78 F-100 lovingly known as Jimmy was crushed Thursday night by a 16 foot deer stand. We had pretty bad wind up here in Dillard and the stand landed right on the hood. Squished him pretty good. Services will be held tomorrow night at 6.

70blue 12-29-2009 07:30 AM

I hate to hear that. Did it damage anything besides the hood?

GA76Explorer 12-30-2009 06:32 PM

Yeah banged him up pretty good hood grill lights radiator cradle fender when it hit the hood it broke and just ripped everything off the front of the truck. Pretty bad not sure what all it done under the hood yet but it was heavy. Dont know if she is willing to fix him or not. Luckily it didnt hurt the 79 Bronco sittin next to though :)
