07 F250 fx4 stuck in 4 low HELP!!!!!
 

My truck is stuck in 4 low anyone had this problem please help!!! Stranded!

Yes had that problem. I had to put my foot on the brake and in neutral and then switch to 2x2 or something like that.

Happened to me once. To get it out I manually unlocked the hubs, put the tranny in N with my foot on the break, got off the break letting the truck roll foward a little and hit the breaks hard.

It might be your brake accuator on the brake pedal. If you put your head under the dash you will see a square switch on the pedal. Move that and turn your 4x4 switch. Also make sure your in neutral.

happened to me once or twice. as stated try foot on brake try turning truck off go through normal steps like you were just going into 4 low. then follow normal steps like going to 4 hi then 2wd. also try the relays under the hood for bad connectiond or swap them to get out of 4wd if one is bad. Main thing to do is get out of truck, take a deep breath, or have a smoke, what ever. I got so mad at it I was going to break something after I calmed down and truck sat for a minute it shifted out just fine LOL

This guy is the man! He just saved my butt while I was out plowing. I fought with everything for an hour... Put it in neutral and step on the brake...boom like magic

more then likely the shifter motor has gone out or the electrical connections are lose u can take the shifter motor off of the transfer case and shift it manually with a wrench to get u where u need to go

After reading replies here is what I did. It was stuck in low 4x4. I put it in neutral put switch in high and pressed breaks few times. It’s most likely just a switch. I am sure if I put it in 2x4 I’d have same results
