you know I'm not sure on either fact-I can go down there tomorrow and look at it-as far as I know it's open or so it seemed when I spoke to the guy on phone? the guys on site said it would hold about 40 or 50 folks -and said it was a gazebo style-parks and recs. said it holds 75?where would I go to check average temps for this area weatherbud? }>

I started to look and couldn't find it.... guess I'll have to intensify the search.....TOMORROW~!

we gonna have to get cracking on this if it's gonna happen :) so Maryland folks post up!
we are waiting for ideas :)

You seem to forget...we only have 3 active members and maybe 3-5 more that post sometimes.....

Here's a thought....we've never had a meet just NORTH of Baltimore....anyone that way that may be interested?

That_Guy 09-21-2009 10:01 PM

I can probably make anything as long as its not the weekend of the 25th.

DRangerMike 09-22-2009 09:42 AM

I think we got more then three active members. Also pretty much any place would work fine for me and any weekend. Just no sunday. :D. Calvert sounded great. If we were to have it north of Baltimore would we try to find a pavillion somewhere or try to hold it at someones house?

BPofMD 09-22-2009 10:04 AM

So it looks like it'll be the 18th, if any, as Halloween is the 31st. I know Penny won't come then..... and if she don't, I don't.

Anyone got problems with Oct 18th? If not, Jr will be reserving that date......

Hopefully, we'll have a good turnout.

Next one will have to be somewhere here in the North......if still winter, maybe a nice eating place?

DRangerMike 09-22-2009 10:29 AM

Only thing about the eighteenth is football. How many will not show because they are watching the games?

BPofMD 09-22-2009 10:48 AM

There were no Saturday's open for the Park, except the 31st.

DRangerMike 09-22-2009 10:53 AM

Ah alright. Well that sucks. I am sure it will still be a good turnout. Last one was an that was opening day for football.

jr32560 09-22-2009 05:05 PM

well guys no need to have a large place for only 2 or 3 folks?-maybe just skip this month -since it was a last minute thing-football season is upon us and some guys won't miss it for nothing-I remember the last meet I had down here -:(
lets hold up for a day or 2 and see if we have any more comers~or potential folks that want this to happen :) would kinda be the last month for a cook out -but oh well-and now saturdays any one that is a hunter-it's deer season and that ties up saturdays for them}>
I'm still not opposed to having it at Tinas or on the eastern shore -or north-or west hey I go places keeps me away from home :)

fire240 09-22-2009 06:04 PM

Jr there never is a last month for cooking out. I still cookout yr round at home. I keep plenty of charcoal and propane for both grills. But then again I am a diehard griller and will grill in the snow.

jr32560 09-22-2009 08:40 PM
