When I hosted a GTG for another club, I had it at state park with no admission at one of the picnic areas. Turned out great for pics and gave people with familys something else to do. I even had 1 guy from PA rent a cabin for the weekend. I know I'm not a Md. member, just tossing a idea.

Depending on how far everyone is willing to travel we could meet here at my place. I've got a grill and lots of parking. Just a thought. Don't worry my feeling won't be hurt if it's too far for most

well we seem to have lots of ideas and possible places :)
Tina how far from the bay bridge are ya? I'm lost on trappe? |
Trappe is 1/2 way between Easton and Cambridge. Roughly 40 minutes from the Bridge. We've got 2 1/2 acres and a big circular driveway so like I said, plenty of parking. Just thought I'd throw it out there, but I won't be hurt if its too far for you guys who haven't been blessed to live on the Right side of the Bay :-innocent

I would be fine with it being at trappe. Would be needing a GPS but pretty small area played baseball once there. I did not think it was fourty more like thirty but I drive fast }>
|
finding trappe no problem. go through easton, and as soon as you get to the "speed awareness zone", go 6 miles , your there.
|
...and 3 miles of that IS the "speed awareness zone". Weird, as I've NEVER seen a cop there!

They usually hide right at one of the side streets as soon as the zone starts and ends

okay guys called the parks and recs here in Calvert county - for October here in Calvert they have Howling point park. a
pavilion has a 75 person capacity -grills e.t.c-no blatant alcohol use-they have open at this point-the 18th- 25th- 31st--and November 7th -there is no charge and I assured them no burnouts e.t.c! so the dates are there lets make up some plans-I did tell em I'd make a small donation for the use of it-these are the dates they have open now -so we need to make a date so we can reserve the spot :) |
the actual address is 4755 Hallowing point road Md 20678
if ya want to map quest it and check things out and Tina has offered her place so post up some ideas :) |
What is average temp in Calvert County in October?? Is the Pavilion and OPEN or enclosed one?
