A parts diagram or a picture of the bowl by itself. Thanks for the system diagram.

Here ya go:

The 1st one is a 94-95 fuel bowl

And the 2nd is a 96-97. You'll see that the filter restriction sensor was moved from the lower rear of the bowl up to the side of the pressure regulator and that the strainer cup under the regulator was eliminated.

Rodney:
What TPM is looking for is an exploded view of all the parts that make up the fuel filter bowl.

Rodney - That's what I needed. Thanks. Any chance you have a jpg file you could send? And a pic of the other side?

AVTECH12@hotmail.com. Thanks. Reps.

Kawa - the picture helps and a clear parts diagram would also help. I found one on FTE and it was a small image that has not much resolution when enlarged.

PJwoolw - thanks those images help too. Just so everybody understands - I want to change the fuel heater and the gaskets and valve for the fuel drain. I also have a leak that seems to not be associated with a hose or fitting. Since I shut the truck down once to replace the pump, accumulator, banjo and all hoses and lines associated, this leak is new and I just know that if I don't do it now I'll have a tough time getting motivated to open it all up again. The leak is small though it is persistent and after all, fuel is money. The engine is so close to perfect again, I hate to have this little leak bugging me.

So my plan is to pull the bowl out and work it over top to bottom. Its a cutaway van and there is no direct view into the fuel filter. I pulled the turbo and the air intake tonight and tomorrow I'll try for the fuel bowl.

Kawa - I found and can see the 7/8" bolt. Thanks.

Thats what I'm going to do also. I only want to it once ( knock on wood ). Ed at y2k (a sponsor here ) can get get you everything you need at a reasonable price.

TPM 08-08-2009 11:48 PM

Pete, the link for Ed and Y2K both went no where. Is the a website for Y2K?

Maybe the canister itself is leaking in the bottom, is comun find corrosion there. Just a thougth.

Joseph,
Jose is right. it's probably a good thing that you're planning on pulling the whole filter housing so it can be inspected. If you do have corrosion holes they can be repaired with JB Weld or PM me as I have a spare housing that has been modded for the Super Duty fuel heater. :-X22
