Hi Dave, Aaron, Ray...

Seems like it's very busy around here tonight.

Dave, I was down in Stamford a few hours ago. How are things at the station?

Aaron, did you part out your mom's car too??? ;) :D

Aerocell4x4 07-28-2009 09:29 PM

Jim:

All's quiet here at the station.

For about the past week now its only been one person on nights.

I happen to like that.

New hire is scheduled start on Monday.

:-wink Good :-X17 everyone.

low gas level....that explains it! night dave-o

jim, we are parting my sisters old car. i assume you found it on craigslist? we are actually trying to get rid of it as a whole, several bites but no takers.

my moms car is slowly getting cv joints. i finished one side, should have the other done tomorrow. we were slow at work so i started moms car hoping to have time to work on it, then we got really busy at work the next day. i hate german crap....cv joints is a really quick easy job on any non-german vehicle. this think has 48 freeking ball joints per side that need to com apart, then there is a magical 1" c-clip that you need to get off through a 1/4" hole. ich hasse deutschen Abfall.

No Aaron,
I did know about your sisters car, I was just joking about you chopping your mom's so you wouldn't have to work on "German crap"

My mother had a B2 Passat wagon with the turbo, and a leaky firewall.
OMG, what a f'n nightmare....

So it looks like I'm getting real plates tomorrow. Right now I got a license paper taped on in place of a real plate being bolted on. I just used some electrical tape I had in the truck. It's held up to 75 or 80 mph.

So does anyone have any experience with those cut the line passes? I got one good for any day when I was there last since it was their screwup. Do I get to cut the info line to get a # or do I just get to go right to the front of the registration line?

Zookie400 07-28-2009 10:08 PM

ya, i totally agree that the germans WERE on the forefront of engineering and design, but the past 10 years havent been so hot for them. im sick of the german crap, and my friend who is a BMW mechanic is sick of it as well. he is so fed up with the BS, he wants to change career.

thank goodness for ford :D

Zookie400 07-28-2009 10:10 PM

i would try to go straight to the front of the reg line, it worked for me when i had one.

Zookie400 07-28-2009 10:22 PM

ok later dudes!

You got that right. Yes, I'm up with 3 hours of sleep and off to work.

If you want to see a review of the concert, I'm guessing the Boston Globe will cover it. Maybe look online.

Well I'm not sure he waved at you but he waved at me on my way into work on Rt. 80 in New Haven. I only go as far as the East Haven line to pick up my truck, so I couldn't see you to wave at. :-wink

I was in my old F150 so I'm not sure he recognized me, but he did wave.
