You'll have to point out the cat on my truck because I don't see one on my stainless turbo-back 4" exhaust. Only Cali trucks had cats as far as I know. At least on the SuperDuty trucks. I think they were able to do without the cat because of the split shots in the 99-03s.

you are 100% correct.

EEeeewww. Banks. If you didn't already order check out MBRP. I've got one and I like it. And it's not half as expensive as Banks.

but you didnt get the power adding sticker that everybody loves to display with pride! mbrp makes perfect exhausts, very affordable. mine is home grown at the moment, but its bare steal and rotting fast so when it finally goes through i will be buying an mbrp kit. only problem is that i will need to modify it to clear the gooseneck hitch. no biggie though.

how is the truck driving pete?

ok break is over, back to pretending to work............................

Good morning CT...hope everyone has a great day!!!

Aerocell4x4 07-28-2009 02:28 PM

:-wink Good afternoon everyone.

Worked day-shift yesterday.

mox-ct 07-28-2009 02:33 PM

Afternoon all. I looked at the MBRP, but I can't remember what steered me away from them. Banks threw my sale on last week sale price and absorbed the shipping. Then later they called and said the tail pipe won't fit my application so with a down pipe after the muffler, it was another $200 cheaper.

We are off to the AC/DC concert at Gillette stadium.

:-wink Hi Ray;

Sorry to hear that your current project is dragging out. :-X15

rocdril 07-28-2009 03:37 PM

Its a Catch 22, more time equals more money. But we have to start a project at Eastern Ct State U next Monday, so I may be moving equipment all weekend.

Aerocell4x4 07-28-2009 03:58 PM

Ray:

Well then good for you that you didn't have a fixed price contract.

Best wishes.

rocdril 07-28-2009 04:06 PM

HOT Matt
I'm working on a house on the sound in Branford.
Not much wind today.

Evening guys.

Yea I love my MBRP exhaust. Sounds pretty awesome and it's nice and shiny. I got full stainless though because we live in the land of salt.

I really dislike Banks products. Very severely dislike Banks. It's an overly expensive product that is no better than any other product.

I read a description on a Banks exhaust. It said "Flows as well or better than stock"

If I'm spending a ton on Banks products I'd hope they kick the crap out of stock.

Banks puts all his money in advertising rather than improving his products.

Either way you go I recommend contacting Clay at RiffRaff diesel.
