Just thought I would start a BS thread and see if I can get people talking here. Sorry haven't had a chance to have a get together. Surgery is 2 weeks from tomorrow. Hopefully in July or August. Here is a new project I picked up on Saturday. Its a 1963 Cadillac convertible. Maybe I'll just have to put a 7.3 in her. LOL

Nice looking project you have there Tom. Good luck with your back surgery. How long will you be down afterward?

mndiesel 06-12-2009 10:42 PM

Mike I hope not long. They want you to start walking 2-4 blocks a day for a week and keep going further after that. They say in a month you should be over a mile a day. Hopefully this will work this time.

What about the races tomorrow night???

I hope this is your last surgery.

I'll have to see if I get home in time to go to the races.

Tom, good luck with the surgery! That caddy does look to be in decent shape. Does it run or drive? Hopefully you can get it to back to the 50's next year. I am heading out to the 50's friday with an old pickup I drug out of the shed. My street rod isnt running yet.

mndiesel 06-19-2009 10:33 PM

Troy,
Thanks for the luck for the surgery. As for the Caddy, it does not run but I am hoping to have her ready for next year. Lets see a pic of that truck and the street rod. I am in Ohio and won't make the show this year. AAARRRGGGHHHH
