June BS

Hello Nevada. How is everyone. Did you all enjoy the weekend?

racerchick21 06-02-2009 12:53 PM

Yes, short as it was. We had a very successful Relay-for-Life event put on by one of our sponsors. Save the Ta-Tas!

I'm all for that!

There were a lot of them there Saturday. They had a 'Get Your Bartender Wet' contest, a dunk tank with bartenders from every bar in town, $5 a ball. It started at 10 am and was scheduled 'til 8 pm or so, they were still going strong when we finally got out of there around 4 to go say hi to william_04_x. Of course, they weren't all female.

Did anyone have a drink or two for me}>

racerchick21 06-05-2009 08:28 AM

Of course! We wouldn't forget about you! Not together though, by the time I got to the track William was ready to call it a day.

We're racing this weekend if anyone wants to head over this way! :D

Unfortunately I have to save for a trip to Boise next month. I have to go to school for a couple of weeks. The closest I am going to get to anything auto related is the Rainbow Casino's "cruise in" auto show on the 19-20 this month.

Good morning Nevada.

racerchick21 06-08-2009 08:09 AM

Happy Monday! What are you going to school for Jeff?

kermmydog 06-08-2009 09:10 PM

Good Evening Nevada. Wow the wife is off for the summer & I want to do stuff but I'm still not up to par after my surgery. I have never been through anything like this. I guess I'm very fortunate first to still be alive & second to of made it 60 years without ever being real sick or in any major accident.
I was thinking I need to have a bumper sticker made up that says I SURVIVED BANNER CHURCHILL HOSPITAL. Many don't I'm told.
Today has been a month since my surgery & I'm healing good & feel OK just not up to where I was. I go back to the doctor next week & see where I stand.
I want to ride my Suzuki SV650S so bad I can't stand it. I hope the doctor will tell me I can start riding again. But we will have to see. again a 60 year old body with a 20 something brain.
Craig

That's what my mom used to tell me, one day she was 16 and then woke up and was 60 but felt the same way inside, WTF happened? Glad you're feeling better. I think that bumper sticker would be a big seller lol! Kind of sad acutally. Hey are you going to any of the Octane Fest events this week?

I am going to school to reclass for the army. I am going from human resources to wheeled mechanic.

I so wish I had a video camera on sunday. my cousins were riding there snowmobile across the water. All was good until they told me to go on it. I told them that I had never been on one before but they insisted. I did not make it very far:-missingt Fortunately where I sank it was only 3 feet deep}>

Then the truck ('01 F250 Diesel) got stuck trying to pull the snowmobile out. We had to get rescued by an '87 Ford Ranger.

But like the saying goes, Getting stuck is half the fun}>

Ha! I've seen that on video before, what does all that water do to the sled?
