yeah they have...2 are taken by offroad lights and radar detector but got two empty ones
|
can we get pics of your current setup?
most guys mount 4 switches on the oval piece below the radio that has the cigarette lighter 1. 6" offroad lights behind your grill looks awesome especially if you have the Honeycomb or the Roush grille 2. backup lights on the bumperlight up the area behind you when backing up 3. ???4. ??? |
yeah il try to get pics up tomorrow and yeah i have the lights behind my honeycomb grille and i just hardwired my radar detector to a switch so the cold cord isnt hanging everwhere
|
and since i have a bench front seat on the dash below the change holder/ashtray theres like a cubby hole i made a panel for that and stuck the switches there

You can use one of the switches to control a cutout relay for a set of air horns.

how much for a set of air horns

I purchased mine from Siege Engineering's E-bay store for $185. They are not showing any product on E-bay or their website. There are many other systems on E-bay at; air horn, eBay Motors, Electronics items on eBay.com. One thing is the system using a storage tank allows you to be able to air up tires. My gallery at; 2001 Ford Econoline 4x2 - Tech Photos has pics of the system installed on my tow truck. Sets run from @$200 ↑. I recommend a system that has the tank and compressor as separate components. I wired mine so that a relay is open if the switch is in the off position. The relay closes when the stitch is on. This allows power to pass to the air horn valve solenoid when the regular horn receives power from the horn button. Aux switch off = regular horn only. Switch on = regular horn + air horn.

oh ok gotcha well thats pretty awesome that it lets you air up your tires...thats a plus

I added a quick coupler http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/pho...4699/34699.gif to my system along with a 50' air hose. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/pho...2199/02167.gif
