Trying to add another to the stable
 

Well, I can't resist it. I'm working desperately on trying to add another Big Job to the stable. I'm cutting the 48 F-1 loose. I've got it on ebay, and have like 7 people that have saved it to keep an eye on the bidding. Hoping it goes well. If it does, I have been talking to the guy in Washington that's been posting the 54 F-900 fire truck on Craiglist. I'm working it, and am trying hard to get that beast. After telling the other guy from ebay how much I would take to cut the semi loose, he hasn't responded. I'm actually glad too, cause I think I would of regretted that one. So, wish me luck with the 54. I really want the S.O.B. and am hoping it goes well. Yeah Don, it's the one you posted a picture of a while back. I hope the pics show up. It's in better shape than my 53 was (fire truck wise anyhow. This one will stay intact, and be slowly but surely restored, until money gets scarce and I have to let it go (hoping the settlement finalizes before that happens). I just can't let an opportunity slip, with out at least trying for it. If I don't, I think I'll regret it. My dad is working on a pair of 55 F-800's down in Nevada, so we'll only need a 56 to make the 4 year stretch complete. If things work out, I'll try the 56 jalopy posted in the desert finds thread.
