just bought a propane truck, it sputters when on the highway...

hey guys, i recently bought this truck to just haul stuff around it, it runs on propane, it sarts and drives fine, but when you give it more than 1/2 throttle or take it past 50mph it starts sputtering. the prev. owner told me its some filter that needs to be changed... i've never dealt with propane do i dont even know where to start.... What should i check and replace?

follow the fuel line from the tank to fuel lock device

remove screws (carefully sometime soft and stripe easily)
filter is white material
cost $8 buck in canada

takes about 10 minutes.

i ended up doing that, replaced the filter, the truck was ok for about a day, then started sputtering again... i ended up getting rid of it for more than i paid for it and didnt bother with trying to fix it

FYI: i suspect rust in the tank, a problem with early tanks

kind of pointless now but i would have guessed a partially plugged vapor line. what temp thermostat was it running?
