Lot's of really sharp trucks here (actually all over this websight). :-tap
I was a bit reluctant to even post pics of my old '77 ... but I may soon in the proper place. Those with shiney black trucks .... man, I couldn't keep one looking good in black no more. Did it with my '70 CST-10.... but I was 20-23 then. |

Thanks!
She is pretty special .... she (Wife Unit) has been mine now 30 years this month :9 .... and counting. She wants a personalized plate on it, she's never wanted one on our other cars or her Subaru Forester. She's making a list of possibilities. She's calling it "her GT' now. :) Once we get over the newness, we'll settle down and maybe drive it a couple or 3 thousand a year at most. Gonna build a shed type car port for it though. I forgot to mention, I never found the $10,000 truck she liked enough to look at hardly .... .... it ran a little bit over that. It has a red and carbon fiber look intake tube set up "TruFlow" I think, and NO CHIPS (I had it scanned before putting my signature on the line, want to keep the balance of factory warranty. In service Nov 2007). http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ingforpass.jpg I got this picture on the way home as she come up to pass me in the Bird. Here's a Raptor pic, not my truck .... $41K. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...0rightside.jpg P.S. Either your in Europe somewhere or the cam reversed the photo, looks funny to see her driving from the right side of the truck lol. |
Thank you.
I got the picture on the way home as she come up to pass me, I took it in the mirror on my driver's side door of my Tbird. I erased the tag, but the grille emblem tells the tale, I caught the signal on too I see. The Raptor was sharp, I think it was sold the same day we picked up our '07. |

Nice rig bear! Really like the interior. And man those '09s are really growing on me, that Raptor looks really sweet and I'm not much of a short bed fan either.

how much are you looking to get?
|
I just bought my first vehicle 3 weeks ago, a 2004 F-150 Extended cab, 6 1/2" box, 5.4L V8, 4x4, 125,000 km. It also came with the tint and tonneau which the previous owner installed.
I think i got a pretty good deal considering it was only $13500 CA. http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/2005/img0989p.jpg http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/6007/img0991w.jpg http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/7789/img0990o.jpg I think i may take off the chrome fender trim, i'm not crazy about it, what do you guys think? I'm also pretty sure my first mod will be Bilstein's 5100 series shocks and that will level it out. |
ditching the fender trim would be a good place to start. Nice truck! red f150 ext cab.. CLASSIC :D

A word of warning on the fender trim....it has been known to scratch the paint and be very obvious when you take them off. A fellow member here did the same thing a while back and actually had to order new ones to put on once he had the old ones off.....the scratching was so bad it was either cover it up again or repaint. Don't know if you care or not but just thought that I would give you a heads up. ~jstnromero |
