Pretty quiet in here but figure its worth posting since I am in CT 06424. I took three brick nose trucks and made one out of them. I have a 1990ish (will confirm if needed) 460/ZF 4x4 truck that's pretty rotten but have been able to scavenge some good parts from it. The engine/trans are still in it in unknown condition but would definitely consider the engine a core. Not sure on the trans at all. Truck #2 was originally a 87 F250 2WD with a 6.9 IDI. I dont have the engine/trans from this one.
List of big items, but really have a lot to offer if anyone wants to swing by and have their way with the trucks/shelves of parts:
-7ish foot flatbed that was installed where a 8ft bed would go (unsure if frame modifications are needed but i believe it may be welded to the frame in a couple spots). Pretty good shape, could use a descale and some paint. LED lights, two of which are flashy orange, two others white reverse lights. Recently made pressure treated stake sides. Gooseneck built in. Must help me remove from truck and need buddies to help lift.
-Planning to keep for future unknown project but would part with the front Dana 60 out of the 460/ZF truck. Ill have to see what the ratio is.
-Planning to keep for future unknown project but would part with the rear sterling 3.55/Limited slip axle from the 2wd f250.
-Set of dark green front fenders. Fairly rust free but dented/dinged in places. I fitted them but didnt care for the color mismatch and the way they fit due to some of the damage on them. Id just really hate to toss them if someone can use them.
-Set of blue/white front fenders with rust on the arches. Other than the rust, they are really straight.
-Decent blue hood with some rust at the leading edge (matches the above blue/white fenders)
-Decent dark blue hood with a little rust but its straight as well. Might have an OK fender that will match this hood. I believe its the drivers.
-Hood hinges and lift springs
-various interior trimmings for both a brown (XLT lariat) and a blue (custom) interior.
-pedal cluster with clutch, arm already modified to accept the clutch heim mod
-manual steering column
-Headlights, no buckets. Clouded and could use a buff.
-no bumpers
-no good rad supports
-no good fuel tanks

I will be shelving a lot of the smaller easier stored and potentially useful stuff, but most of the bigger items will be going to the scrapper in a month or two. Please PM me with interest.

UPDATE: I am acquiring a '90ish F250 4x4 in a week or so to grab some parts i need from. It is a 351/auto truck. I will be using the transfer case and the rear driveshaft at a minimum. It will be kept as a roller with the bed and cab complete enough to be used as storage. Otherwise its fair game. This one will be staying at a friends house, so it will be around for quite some time. List above not updated with items from this truck as i do not have it yet.

I may be interested in the 351 and front x-member. My 300 is apart and was gonna rebuild. I also need a drivers side window.

Yeah this chapter is really dead now, a few of us still post occasionally. Ten years ago it was really active

@Towmanjbo (Justin), Did you still want that rear Bronco window? The tailgate got the dumpster treatment a few weeks ago but I remembered you had said you might be able to make use of the glass.

Towmanjbo 12-29-2021 09:11 PM

Yes Greg, I would still like to get that window even though I kinda forgot lol

Surprisingly between the four trucks, I won’t have spare glass, but let me double check. The buddy I’m getting the truck from wants to keep the starter, but hopefully I can get the truck running and video it before giving the starter back. It drove to where it is now about 1.5yrs ago.

ill be in touch.

Okay, no rush. My trucks been sitting waiting for abut 3 years now

Hello neighbors! Sadly, I had to sell my truck. I removed a bunch of stuff from it, and am willing to hookup my FTE buddies! Let me know if you are interested in anything, I am sure we can cut a deal. :-partybud
