Head's up diesel owners...

This is for anyone who gets their diesel serviced at Kendall Ford in Wasilla. They only have 1....yes ONE diesel tech now and he's booked all the way into February. They are refering diesel issues to either Cal's or Seekins.
I have a code showing....PO470 (exhaust pressure sensor malfunction). Which according to him could be anything from a injector to the EGR valve.
I'm scheduled, but I'm number 19 on the waiting list. I may try calling Cal's and see how long I'm going to have to wait with them.
All I can do now is wait and hope for the best

I knew that was coming I just forgot to say anything. Call Different Strokes of Alaska. Their number is 907-562-3673. They used to be Powerstrokes of Alaska until Cal Worhtington complained to Ford enough about the use of the proprietary name. They even do testing for some new products for Ford that Ford just bypasses the dealership with because they know Ron and his boys know their *****. He's a great guy and all his guys really know what they're doing. He'll shoot ya strait and send ya home happy.

Hey Willies. Did you ever call Different Strokes? Uncle Cal had my truck a week and couldn't figure out the glow plug relay was fried. I took it out of their shop, took it to diff strokes and they had it diagnosed in 20 minutes.

Ron and crew have done me right also...
on another note, is there any truth to the hydrogen equipment additions...... or is there not enough room in the bed to hold needed equipment.

Every Ford dealership up here has messed something up on our trucks. We try not to bring them into the dealer to get worked on but they are the only ones that do warranty work around anchorage. I had the head gasket go on my 6.0L and had them nye out in Wasilla eork on it. After they put up a fuss about that it only had like 100miles left till warranty was up they did the job and now my truck drives like crap. Lots of noise from the back end when going over bumps and cracks in the road. Its funny because The F-350 rides smother than the Excursion does. Doesn't seem right to me. I also herd from another owner of an Excursion in anchorage that Cal bent his drive shaft when it was getting warranty work done and wouldn't pay for it, so he had to pay for it. Just saying watch what they do, make sure everything seems right or take it back.

Do yourself a favor, stay the hell away from Cal Worthlesston. I speak from personal experience and manage a fleet of trucks in Anchorage. I have taken my trucks there probably 10 times and was sorry I did. Different Strokes seem to know what they are doing and actually care about helping you keep your truck running.. I think his name is Ron.. Good people
