Price of gas & where you live?

Ive been hearing rumor that up here (Grande Prairie county) we are getting screwed more than the rest of the province. I keep hearing the rest of the province is in the 80s range. I know for a fact ottawa is in the mid 70s. I cant figure it out.
Its 94.9 here today, what is it where youre at?

 I googled alberta gas prices and I see in Calgary and Edmonton and most of the rest of the province, gas is in the high 70s low 80s range. WTF!

preppypyro 11-20-2008 06:28 PM

Must be nice, we are at 88 cents a liter for gas here. Its not bad, but no mid 70's!

rollerstud98 11-20-2008 09:55 PM

82.9 in Airdrie for gas, 103.9 for diesel.

just saw a thread on here in the 04-08 F150 forum...in St.Louis its $1.49 a gallon! thats 37.5 cents a liter! so sickening

I wish we could get gas for that cheap out here in good ol sask!

My woman heard some "expert" on the radio yesterday that said the fuel prices are going to drop abit more, then supposed to stay down for awhile.

Wouldnt that be nice??!!

pud 11-21-2008 10:31 AM

its bitter sweet when you find out your "cheap" gas is still more than twice as much as a lot of other places in north america. If gas was 50c/l here I would be out shopping for a 460 and a supercharger....instead im looking for a 2.3L to swap to propane in a ranger.

preppypyro 11-21-2008 10:39 AM

Oh yeah man i hear that.

Im honestly just glad its under a buck a liter. Wish it would have happened this summer though.

ottawaguy 11-25-2008 12:25 AM

about 73 today in Ottawa...
Anyone wanting to check prices in this area can go to ottawagasprices.com
it gives the highs and lows in and around the ottawa area.

Grande Prairie is fairly isolated. Imagine the extra shipping costs it would be to get a tanker of fuel up here? Thats the difference in prices IMO.

there are refineries all around here, Well around edmonton.

albertafarmer 12-10-2008 10:02 AM

Calmar Alberta 71.4 cents/liter Dec 9th, 2008.

rollerstud98 12-11-2008 07:24 PM
