est time to clear fuel lines / injector of B100
With the colder temps coming on, was curious about something. Assume I'm running B100 (which I am :) ), and now it's about to get seriously cold overnight. If I go add some regular diesel to achieve a more "cold-adverse" mix, how long do I need to run the truck to have the new mix in the fuel tank make it through the fuel lines and injectors ?
Thanks, TX |
Not long. It will mix as you're putting it in the tank. I'd say a matter of minutes based on my observations mixing a little two cycle oil into the fuel.

It can't get THAT cold in Houston..........:) I blend down to B-80 and don't have a problem to about 10 deg. If I think it's going below +10, I mix it down to B-50.
