Dome light wiring, anyone have a diagram??

Hi All
I have a '76 Bronco. On the Bronco, the "Dome" lamp is powered only by a switch on the light itself.
I would like to install door switches. Can anyone post a complete wiring diagram showing Dome light, door switches, and headlight switch, and complete wiring?
Is the bulb in the dome a single filimant or double (1 for the manual switch, one for the door switches?
Thanks
Reamer

Hi reamer,

The '76 Bronco is actually a different style Bronco than the 73-79 pickups and 78-79 Bronco's, so it's unlikely you'll find any wiring diagrams for your year in this forum. However, check out the 66-77 Bronco forum:

In general though, you run constant power to the switches, and then switched power up to the dome light. You could do it with a single filament bulb if you run both switched and constant power up to the dome light. I can tell you the wire colors for a 73-79 pickup, but I don't know how that would translate over to a first generation Bronco.
