What'ya mean too early? Could have snow on the ground by the end of the month, been known to happen... I got indoctrinated to SD weather in 96-7 with 3 day blizzards, snow and ice before Halloween, didn't quit until April... real Little House on the Prarie type stuff...

I recall that winter quite well. Was a senior in highschool.
