Smoke on the Mountian

Well I am posting because Lostmybeer has not. It looks like SOTM is coming up soon and we need info Tommy,

lostmybeer 09-21-2008 05:08 AM

Yes, I do have the info.

lostmybeer 09-21-2008 05:11 AM

Oct. 25 is the Smoke on the Mountain Tour. 99% is diesel, except for Marty who is the 1%. More info will follow soon. If you have Banks kits, be prepared to be laughed at(Jerry) Most of us run with real power.

did you know that 90% of all satistics are made up on the spot?

so there are only going to be 100 people?

lostmybeer 09-25-2008 06:05 PM

Could be 100+. There were 31 trucks. Each carried an average of 3 persons per.

MARTYSTOWRIG 09-25-2008 08:29 PM

I highly doubt that I will have a truck load... I dont wan to take 2 whinny kids and Liz for a 14 to 16 hour trip..... Sorry, It will either be Me alone or Me and Liz.

I'm going.

We meet at Spiffys in the morning for breakfast. Get the buffet. Then run up the mountain the senic way. Stop at the sunken A-frame and at the suspension bridge for pictures. Then up to the observatory to catch a movie on the Imax. There isnt really an organized return. Leave or stay as you like. Its usually late lunchtime by the time were headed home, so a smaller group stops on the way down for food.

We have guys coming from bend or and Arlington for this, so organize early to get in the caravan. I usually meat the up north caravan at the 512/I-5 McDonalds. IF you dont have one already SERIOUSLY consider installing a cb for this event. Going to SOTM without a CB is like being def at a rock concert. We have a lot of fun.

If you are a no show, you missed out....on alot of good times. Not worth missing. Especially if you are a diesel owner. BCT did get a hug last year, who knows what he will get this year.

lostmybeer 09-27-2008 02:19 AM

As the info comes out, it will be posted. One month to go.

Hey lostmybeer and martystowrig, I sent you guys an email. Did you get it?

This new computer has a different program than the one I'm used to. Sent me a line or two. My last computer seriously crashed last spring, it took me awhile to buy a new one.

Sorry for being :-offtopic.

thanks
