DTC p0678/p0676/p0674/p0672

I have an 01' excursion with a 7.3L. its stock. These codes were stored. I looked them up and all it says is glo plug circuit for cylinders 2,4,6,8.
I am assuming the bank is fed from the same place. I do not have a wiring diagram for glo plug circuit so I dont know if its fed from a relay fuse or fusable link. Any one else have this happen? Any suggestion on were to look first? Also it says high voltage at 110v dc so could it be a transfomer?

most likely is a smoked under-valve-cover harness on the even side..

you can ohm out the GP at the VC...if its a bad wire or GP you will beable to tell..if there good you will need to trace the wires back..i think the X does not have a GP relay..its done though the PCM...here is the pin out and specs..

Pin Out
G G I I C I I G G
G=Glow Plug +
I = Injector +
C= Injector Common
***The injectors fire with a 115VDC signal from the IDM do not pierce to wires to test.***
Ohm between "I" and "C" to test the injectors, should be less than 5.0 Ohms
To check glow plugs Ohm between "G" and battery ground should be between 0.1 and 2.0 Ohms

Is the truck starting and running alright? Could be codes stored from P O problems.

Clear the codes and see if they come back. could just be some left overs.

OK got a late start. Just checked GPs at VC and the readings are good. I got .6-.8-.9-.9 and all injectors are good to. followed wires back to a block next to water seaperator. All wires from both VC go to this block. will try to get numbers off of it and see what it is.

OK Thanks ron got the wiring diagram and found the GPCM. It has power on both hot legs so the fusiable link is good and the plugs ohm out ok so I will assume its the GPCM thats bad. Will order one tomorrow. Thanks for help.
