Still here....just lurking in the shadows.....I'd love to go to Carlisle next year. If I did, I'd drive. Long way, but I'd want Black at the show! All depends on the money situation, the job situation.....the wife situation!! She thinks I'm nuts (and she's right!).

MIDATLANTIC REGIONAL MEET ALL TRUCK NATIONALS CARLISLE, PA

I just checked this out in google maps to get directions. 2,731 miles. My truck gets 11mpg, is 38 years old, and no AC... Would be an interesting trip.

This reminds me of an idea that Steve had earlier this year. A California G2G. Maybe in San Luis Obispo or somewhere else in the middle of the state next year??? Heck, there is a chance I might have my truck sort of, almost, kind of, close to being done.

I'm all for that one, Karl. Maybe springtime - there's a nice State beach (Montana De Oro) not too far from San Luis Obispo that has camping, and of course there's always Pismo.

"Truck Finished" is an interesting concept that I've heard of, but never actually witnessed.

Yes, it is.

One of the nice things about the central coast is that they enacted slow (very slow) growth ordinances a long time ago, and the area has kept it's charm as a result. It's also caused the value housing to remain quite high, which is great if you already own, but not so great if you're looking to buy.

BradyCouchman 08-28-2008 01:14 PM

never mind i didnt want to runin it for anyone....

BradyCouchman 08-28-2008 01:26 PM
