Just ordered my Vegistroke
 

Should be shipped in 2 weeks or so, I also got a custom tank.

Anyone know of any local oil sources I could buy some filtered/dewatered oil from?

Just go to any fast food joint I am sure they will give it away because that is less they have to pay to someone to take it.

I put the order in... haven't gotten it yet. THey are backordered because of the high prices of diesel... everyone is doing it now.

Ryan - I don't think its going to be that easy anymore. There are other companies now, that are collecting it and they have contracts... and some of them are even paying for the oil.

Friday afternoon it is going in.-

If you make freinds with a couple of local stops... Eat there and support them... then ask about the oil! I have one I support and others have begged for his oil and he told them no it is already being picked up!:-bigparty

Started last night @ 9:30, finished and was running on oil by 4.

WOO HOOO!!!

Kit was perfect... no problems. Running perfectly.

400 miles... and still veggin. This thing is pretty cool.

And what exactly are you using? Plain pure veggie oil, or used stuff?

Using the used stuff. I bought 800 gallons from a guy in Adams NY.

About 1000 miles on oil so far. No problems whatsoever.

Absolutely loving this kit. Don't wait to buy the kit...

I just got over 1400 miles out of less than 3/4 tank of diesel. lol.

Diesel is getting much cheaper though... I paid $3.94 for the legal stuff, and the off-road was $3.76.

Jake that price for diesel is cheap... the last time I looked around here and it was still in the mid $4 range. If I remember I will take a look at it in the next day or so to see what they are selling it for.

So how is the veggie stroke working for you????
