Service/Shops/Mechanics in NJ
 
Lets get a list of service/shops/mechanics in NJ.If a member needs help
or work done to there trucks...If you know of a place just post it up and
what work was done.Even out of state places welcome for the guys up north/south...

well i use mattsons on 35 from time to time but hes sometimes swamped and then your repair can take as long as a mortgage... i know we have a resident mechanic and if i can just get my butt out there im gonna let sean try his luck with my AC

Billy Mattson does fantastic work.
so does Tom Knapp. rt 516 in Old Bridge, near the high school.

for trans work, there are 2 people. Pat at Royal Transmission and brake in spotswood, and up north there is Pat Barret at Level 10 performance in vernon

tom youre like the fifth guy i know from the area who recommends Pat at royal transmission... personally i have a guy ive used for years in Elmont NY and i travel out there to get mine done... Andersen transmission on meecham ave in elmont he does alot of the trucks in Kennedy Airport

Mattson does do good work.

Well we had him do state inspections on rental cars back when i worked for rental car company. He did some diagnostic work for us. Was always helpful and friendly. I'm pretty sure he did most types of repairs on cars/trucks. Someone else might be able to answer the question better than me, but I know the dealings we had with him were good.

general automotive service, including engine overhaul.

he also does alot of hi performance work including building things he runs in raceway park... he also has his own flatbed tow truck for towing
