Attn: Diesel guys!

Here's a couple of products you might want to steer clear of:
JOBE Performance

And for that pesky "oil boiling" problem in your valve covers:
JOBE Performance

What's up with this stuff Steve?

SteveBricks 07-14-2008 07:50 AM

Snake oil.

67nukeford 07-14-2008 07:52 AM

Ah, I see. I didn't read it all that well. It's monday, I'm not paying attention!

BradyCouchman 07-14-2008 11:14 AM

i am lost on this one...

Kep4 07-14-2008 11:49 AM

Jobe is apparently still working on perfecting muffler bearings and piston return springs....

That's some seriously crap marketing and products. Anybody recall the carpet-bagger snake-oil scene from The Outlaw Josey Wales?

Josey: "Cures just about everything don't it?"
Carpet-bagger: "Yessir!"
Josey: spits tobacco juice across Carpet-baggers white jacket... "How is it with stains?!"

Oh, sure, now you tell me Russ..What am I suppose to do with this crate of muffler bearings I just bought......

Well, if something to cure "boiling oil" under your valve covers does not send up a red flag, I don't know what to tell you.
