Three places: http://www.ackits.com/
http://www.acsource.com/
http://www.caawparts.com/
If you are looking for web sites.

If you want brand info, I can not answer, but JCWhitneys brand is NOT cheap, but I have heard of them. The one I got from acsource.com was of good quality(bettermade?).

Thanks. I've had some time to look and to me Vintage Air seems to be the way to go. Well tested system, duplicates the factory 'suitcase' and I especially like their reproduction factory dash controls.

I would highy recomend Arizona Mobile Air. I purchased the kit for my '77 f-250 for around 700 dollars. The installation took me two days. The systems works very well.

Does it look factory....or better yet, does it look like the dealer installed air? (controls under center vents with all "stuff" under dash)

I have a 77' F250 w/ dealer air...like it much better than the factory air that takes up the whole engine compartment on the passenger side.

My 75' F250 Crew Cab needs AC and is going to the body shop the 1st of Nov. Wont be long before I need to get serious about the interior.

The vents on the aftermarket a/c are identical to the factory ones. The knobs went below the center vents. The only down fall is that your glove box is replaced with one about a 1/4 of the original size. The kit came with the templates to cut the dash also. If you would like, I could e-mail you some photos of my system so you can see what you think. Let me know if you have any more ?'s.

I would suggest you go to

www.Bought4Less.com for AC kits

They offer kits from the 70's models to new trucks.

Engine mountind kits are the biggest obsticle on the older engines.
