Buying some one else`s resto can be rewarding and also a bigger head ache. I looked at a 66 Mustang convertible afew days ago and it`s full of bondoed over rust! It looks real great rite now but don`t take it thru a car wash or over a ruff road...........................

Yeah a guy has to be really carefull. Ive always kinda liked the idea of doing it all yourself too, but sometimes ya know how tempting the other way can be.

It`s only tempting if you can find the right vehicle that`s properly redone, other wise its a bigger headache and alot more $$$ in the end.

Depends on what your looking for in a vehicle too. Some people dont care if it has a bit of bondo, and some dont want any. Some guys dont know the difference either.

Gotta always wonder about a cheap price on a "nice" restoration though.

Cheaper price is one thing but a high priced vehicle full of bondo/rust/poor resto methods is another matter all together. And there`s lots of over priced junk out there.
