So it was more of a pain than what you thought ??
Of course, it's not just a slip-fit, more of an interference fit, and couldn't get both arms up in there well enough to press it down and screw it on without cross-threading it. Not to mention, the rot/rust from the salt on the filler neck, the straps, etc, had to be cleaned up and painted... Carl, yeah, kick in the marble-bag comes to mind ;) Not really a HARD job, just tedious, AND it's so freakin' hot/humid out that I can't stand it ... :-X22 |
Neil...For your first job at CL leader make sure all lakes are stocked with 15 lbs largemouth bass and northern pike.We want all lakes in the area to be stocked with trophy fish.I will be in the catskills in august.

Not really - except that I was going to just drop the tank slightly to get access to the top and try to get the ring on.

Thanks.... I know some places offer fishing stamps/permit for as long as you
camp there or i'll look into getting one for the year..What is it like 20.00 a year..Maybe i can use my permit from Jersey..lol |
I think NY is $25 (did mine a few years back in Babylon Town on Long Island).
As for the NYC reservoir system, I do NOT think you can just walk into a bait shop and get one. You have to mail a permit request to NYC DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) - since 9/11 they are REALLY over the top with it. nyc.gov/watershed |
Thanks for the info...:-drink

Howdy NY.....

RE: reservoir fishing. Last time I read the fishing guide book, some places you don't want to eat the fish it's OK to drink the water just don't eat the fish... We have a brief shower heading east at 5:15PM
