Well, I ran through the numbers last night and I need a gear ratio of nearly 6:1 to get back to stock gearing. So now, I have a decision to make. Do I spend the money to re-gear this thing the way it is, or do I save up my money and do Rockwells. I also want to do rear-steer at some point in the next year, which would once again require a different set-up. I am having a hard time deciding what to do here!

hmmmmmmmmmmm.........

i think you might be coming on to somthing here.....

Check out usa6x6.com for info regarding rockwells. Their axle prices are steep, but they have a lot of good parts that you can use to rebuild a donor axle if you can find one cheap somewhere else. .

The only bashing I saw came from minions, and MAYBE one other person.

Who bashed?

The only two warnings/infractions I gave out were for STG and one of his minions.

Do the math.

Thanks for the advice. I have heard bad things about USA 6x6 as well. Do you know if they have any kind of adapters to fit the 8-lug wheels that are on the truck now? I really like that look!

I agree with the safety. That is why I used the last of my student loans to get rid of the unsafe tires! haha

As for getting in the truck, you just grab the door, step on the tire, and hause yourself in! Of course, all the girls that get into the truck get a little boost!:-jammin

I have designed some electric steps and I plan to order remote actuators to run them in the next couple weeks.

NICE!

One of the advantages of a big truck is little ladies that need a boost, AND STILL want to ride HIGH!

(Shucks, it isn't perversion if any normal man thinks about it all the time... Or at least once every five minutes according to a national survey)
The guys who DON'T think about it worry me...
