thinking about bio for a long time...

i have been thinking and reasearching making bio for almost two years now. finally with diesel at $4.50 a gal. and the fact that i found two plastic 275 gal. tanks, with a metal cage and pallet built around the tank i figure now is the time to get started.

i do have some questions thought , is there a final consensus on weather or not b100 can be SAFELY run through a (year 2000) 7.3l? i have heard that international recommends only a 5% mix, because it can burn up the injectors. but if i cannot run at least a 50% mix it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Also how will the Bio act with the propane injection? will it be just like dino or will it do something different.

Yes, you can run it in your 2000 7.3 at any strength. The best and latest info is here: Welcome - Collaborative Biodiesel Tutorial Website

I've been making and using B-100 for over 4 years on my ranch with multiple diesels with NO problems at all.

how much can i expect to pay for veggie oil? i know alot of people use WVO but i would rather not do that, seems like a messy and time consuming hassle.

When everybody else is paying $4 PLUS per gallon, and you are paying $1 per gallon a little "mess and hassle" goes a loooong way.........................
