What does everyone use for Tow Mirrors on 2007/2008 Expedition?

Aware of McKesh, Cipa and Tow & See Mirrors

But

Does Ford Make Tow Mirrors

for the Expedition like the F250/F350?

Does anyone know if the F250 tow mirrors fit on the 2007/2008 Expedition?

or

Do F150 tow mirrors fit on the Expedition?

Anyone using F150/F250/F350 Tow Mirrors on Expedition?

Can it be done?

I used the Tow-n-See Convex lens for pulling our 28' TT for our first weekend camping trip this year. They do stick out far enough for me to see around the trailer, and the convex lens helps with the blind spot.

I too was looking for a more OEM replacement - the Tow-N-See's are (hopefully) my short term solution.

I've been using McKesh, set 6" wider on each side than my camper, since 2002. Highly recommended. (If the mirrors fit, the trailer will fit.)

I think the new F150 factory ford tow mirrors would bolt up to an expy. I have them on my new 08 F150 an they are as good as the tow mirrors on my 2006 F250.

Have you found any oem tow mirrors that you can swap on to your expedition. I saw an 04 expedition on another forum that had some oem tow mirrors. I sent an email and awaiting an answer. I have been studying the pics and can not figure out what year tow mirrors he has.

I had the CIPA on my truck for about 2 minutes, as others stated they suck, the McKesh mirrors are what I have know and are the best thing out there IMO, since Ford doesn't offer any other options for the Expy.

Here's my set on 9-year old McKesh mirrors. Priced per season they're cheap.
I keep them in the camper when not in use.

I've been using the Mckesh mirrors too, got about 4K miles on them. I stopped using them on my last trip because they started vibrating really bad in a fierce wind storm around Joshua Tree National Park last week. I found the straps made wear marks on the door body trim on both doors. The mirrors were installed the same as before, and I always wash the door first to make sure there's no residual dirt that might cause scratching. The mirror straps were vibrating and humming severely in the wind storm that may have been 40-50 mph.

Wind hum can be the straps too tight or too loose. Mine can be very loud until I adjust them.

I found if you twist the strap 360 degrees and then attach to the bottom of the door the wind noise, vibration goes away, thought being when pulled tight and flat the wind passes overs it and tries to lift it and cause the vibration, think airplane wing, low pressure created passing over it causes it to rise and vibrate.

My mirrors have preformed very well, except in severe wind conditions. I was getting beat up so much towing that we pulled over and slept, or atleat tried too. Even after putting all the leveling jacks down on my trailer, it shook viloently all night. Thank goodness I've got a well setup up tow rig.
I looked up the wunderground.com weather report nearest to where I was at, and it showed wind speeds of 41mph!, and that was a good 20 miles from where I camped.

A little off topice but not to be outdone my Chuck S I just wanted to show off my towing setup. I just pulled it out of a 6 month rest and now its time to un-winterize and hit the campground for spring break. Yes I know there are no towing mirrors in the picture, hadn't put them on yet.

The motorhome is my fathers FYI.
