Toyota recalls 90,000 Highlander SUVs

Toyota recalls 90,000 Highlander SUVs

Another new Toyota vehicle struggling with quality. At this rate Ford is going to be quality king in no time.

Toyota is now facing the same problem that American auto manufactures did. Once you get so big, it gets very hard to maintain quality.

I already consider them quality King...

BigF350 05-05-2008 07:31 PM

Um... Not seen the Recall on the SuperDuty I take it :)

SUPERDUTY_untouchabl 05-06-2008 06:10 PM

Yes I have actualy... I think that it was blown out of porportion because Ford sold a bajillion of them and didnt find out about it until now.

bf250 05-06-2008 07:13 PM

oh yes, the anti-toyota brigade. every mistake totyota does shows how screwed up they really are and every mistake ford makes is alright because things happen.

i am still waiting for the recall by ford on some obvious flawed problems with my generation explorers. one day perhaps that will occur. thank goodness i like it so much or i would trade it in and get one of those highlanders. all seriously, a hybrid escape.

A seatbelt recall? Here I was thinking it had something to do with the frames, or drivetrain's of them!

Not that I even like the highlander at all but still, that seems like a fairly minor recall on their overall quality!

Because the possibilty of your 1 year old child getting ejected from the car during a crash is definetly minor.

Amen to that! This is a potentially serious issue.
