Really unique pickup.

Its a right hand Drive. Probably straight from Japan, has a sticker on back "bio powered"

Pretty neat for a Toyota.

Secret: I was looking at an almost identical (a bit too rusty) 5 spd Nissan at 'Maximum Overdrive' for $8500. Very practical but it wasn't a diesel. The guys running the business are a bit odd - difficult to talk to. He wouldn't talk to me about parts availablility - only repeated "we do service" and would walk away. I get the impression the vehicles sell so fast they don't have to try very hard.
ICBC has noted that there are more accidents with right-hand-drive vehicles imported into BC, so expect to pay higher premiums...

Cheers

Ya, for one fact that left hand drive is left hand drive for a reason over here. And because of all the ricer kids who think that it's so cool to have a right hand drive authentic japanese vehicle. And y'all know how they drive...

I wasn't looking at it to buy it. I just saw it as I was buying dinner...

Personally I wouldn't ever own a Yota.

Good post.

I dont like driving a right hand drive, and i dont think they are "cool" personally because of the RH drive.

As for the truck, it is pretty neat for a yota. Would probably be a good little truck!

Now that's a short box. I started my apprenticeship at a Toyota dealership. At that time a yota pickup was my dream truck.:-X18

Hate those things (not for N America ) , their owners come in to our shop expecting use to have the filters and specs for Japan or Australia vehicles and act all pissy when we don't have any of it.

NO kidding eh.
We had a Nissan Gloria in the shop to get it ready for the Government Inspection. His headlights will fail, and wasn't pleased that we couldn't fix them.

I took the Gloria for a spin, what a weird car to drive. LH doesn't bother me much, but the rear steer is an odd feeling.
