Few quick questions about B99.
 

Does it suffer the performance loss like ethanol? Any modifications needed? Specifically on the 6.0? Any negative consequences? It can get is cold as -30F here, is there any mix that will hold up to this or just #2? What are roughly the gelling temps for the mixes?

Ethanol sufferes up to a 35% decrease in energy compared to regular unleaded gasoline. Bio diesel is only around a 1% drop in energy compared to ULSD. On top of that, bio typically has a higher cetane rating than diesel, meaning it ignites quicker and burns more completely. All of this depends on the quality of bio diesel you get in your area. Bio is not federally regulated, but instead it is up to your state to set the guidelines for pump bio. So quality of bio can vary depending on where you live. Not all states require bio to meet ASTM standards.

As for temps, even #2 diesel will gel at -30. In those temps you are using winter blend, which is a blend of #1 and #2 diesel. Most pumps probably won't even sell B99 or even anything above B20 in the winter months due to gelling isssues. For concentrations of bio higher than B20, run that during the summer months.
