Just an oil change in the '96 today. Hope to wash and wax it in the next couple of days.

Driving back to WY tomorrow so today I changed the fuel abd air filters, E4OD got a fluid and filter change, and a new wiper blade on the driver side. Had maybe 15k miles on the fuel filter, pretty plugged up. I hate pump replacements so I'll just keep changing fuel filters annually.

I'd suspect the rear abs unit. I had one fail internally and gave me nightmares until it was bypassed. I'm not that familiar with the Ford units, but check to see if there is a bleeder on it. Air can get trapped in there as well.

It does have a bleeder and I bled it after the rears and before the fronts. I picked up a bench bleeder set from the HELP section at one of the stores I pass. Haven't had a chance to get out back and fiddle with it yet, but assuming the MC is good, which I kind of doubt, I will bypass that RABS valve and see what happens.

One other symptom I'm having is that the brake pedal is very slow to return. It will come back up all the way, but I have plenty of time to get my foot under it and pull it back faster if I want.

Installed a new Motorsport Traction Lok the other day. Took about 3 hours or so from start to finish. Good think about using Motorsport stuff, typically you don't have to reset any of the lash/bearings/etc. Just knock it apart, swap the ring gear and reinstall it.

About 3 qt of lube and it was ready to roll. Smooth and quiet.

In 2016 I installed new rims and tires. Upgraded the 235/75/15 to 255/60/17 alloys and Nitto 421Q tires. Replaced the differential oil. Installed LED lamps in the dash. This week another oil change and maybe new rubber brake lines, disks, rear brake cylinders, drums and shoes.

yesterday finished the ds2 rebuild 1987 f150 351w 4 barrely factory

today was able to recurve it and finally got a nice base intial timing in at 12 degrees and seems to be coming in around 30 total when i get on it. had to reuse the stock centriphical advance springs but i do have a few others on hand so going to try one step lighter on the small spring but cured a broken vacuum can and running smooth as can be now so ill wait till next weekend to really tune it out for a third time.

hope to get the 306x aluminum gt 40 heads on possibly next weekend too...waiting on oversized valves and new springs this week ill order the parts and have the pair of turbo swirls rebuilt and get some video and pics!

I finally slapped a little 100w heater pad on my oil pan. It's supposed to get nasty outside this week.

Got around to cutting out the brackets for the radiator core support...man, they really rotted out.

Today I found the dangawn thing blocking my blend door from closing all the way. I'd like to post pics but I can't figure out how to. I started a photobucket account for this purpose but I'm not having much luck.

Yesterday I replaced a locking hub, bearings/races and seal on the passenger side and I may do the other side before too long.

Finally got my throttle position sensor replaced, which means no more CEL!
