Switched out all 3 O2 sensors in the exhaust.

Not much time. Had to help my 15 year old paint his room. I gave him a head start. His 2 walls were already masked.

I had to mask, and I only got to use a 2.5" wide Purdy, and still beat him. Old man still has it.

Removed stock junk. Installed flowmaster 3" exhaust with a Dynomax super turbo muffler since I don't like the flowmaster sound. Kitty ran off.

Had tires rotated and balanced, front-end alignment.

I pulled the passenger side exhaust manifold (which involved first taking out the inner fender, everything attached to it), drilled out 2 broken bolts, , removed the smog pump and most of the equipment for it (left the pipes on the manifolds but plugged them after the check valves JIC ), fixed a belt squeal that has been driving me nuts, found out cyl #4 spark plug has probably never been changed (hard to get to when all the smog equipment was in the way, guess they just didn't care), and completely destroyed my garage and all my tolls in the process.

I had my FIL bring down my welder he's been borrowing for the last 9 years, and tried the "weld a nut on the end of the broken stud" but just couldn't get it to work. The welds didn't penetrate the nut at all. Not sure what we/he was doing wrong. Tried that for an hour or so before giving up and busting out the drill.

Tomorrow I get to clean the garage, and probably will throw a new set of plugs in it.. I bet it will run a little better if all 8 spark reliably. Maybe trace down the unneeded vacuum lines too, and replace the PCV valve & a vacuum hose running from the PCV to the charcoal canister..

2 questions, what tailpipe is that and what engine?

I did the same a few weeks back with a 460, used a magnaflow SS muffler, got a 4' piece of SS pipe from Amazon, and got a universal SS mandral bent pipe from Mandrel Bending Solutions

I like your tailpipe a little better though, it's tucked up a bit higher. Mine is probably 4-6" lower at the back. I should have got a center in/ offset out muffler, which probably would have helped, but I got a center in/out without thinking about it.

The radio went out last week (OEM) replaced it with an aftermarket one. Now to upgrade the speakers! :)

It's the flowmaster 17211 kit. That's the tailpipe that comes with it. It's designed for an offset in/out muffler. I substituted the muffler that came with it with the Dynomax. Engine is an EFI 460. I believe they intend for the pipe tip to be level and then turn down. but with it rotated level, the turn down ended about halfway down the tire. I didn't want exhaust hanging that low. That's one of the things I didn't like about the stock tail pipes, they exit real low, and are vulnerable.

I've been going through my truck getting it ready to pull all of my belongings across the country, moving from CA back to WI.

Found these beauties while changing plugs. #4 and #8 weren't changed at the last tuneup (prior to me purchasing), and then one of the new Autolites looked a little weird. I've never seen one so far off center, the pic doesn't do it much justice. I put a set of NGK in.

Anyways, hoping this was at least partially contributing to my bad pinging.. 2 BAD plugs (@~.070") with a lot of deposits, and one messed up plug.

Changed out the rusted, wobbly wheels for something a little nicer...

It's amazing how much better it rides now. }>

Haha well hello there Totalled.

Not today but recently. Don't look too bad for having 80k on them changed them at around 160k. No misses or pinging but mpg went down to 14 so I figured it was time, and now back up around 16.5.

Spark plug wires, intake tubes, and I should be ready to see what this does.
