rbloodhound 04-01-2008 07:00 AM

March was a slow month. It didn't have half of the posts that Feb had.

Happy April everyone. It's goin to be a good month.

MBBFord 04-01-2008 08:20 PM

Robert and Pat, I'll drink a few for ya'll, but unless it's day time, I don't drink beer too too much.
Usually whiskey.
I'll have a couple mixed drinks for ya.... don't think I've ever had 12 in one night before, but it's worth a try(IF I can still count after about 8ish).

Yep, it's going to be a great month.

MBBFord 04-01-2008 10:22 PM

Sure is Pat.

What do you guys think of BS, Beers, BBQ, Bigtrucks, Bitches(couldn't figure how to spell broads) ?

haha.... Well, if you can clear a Sunday (which is pretty easy), then I say we do a G2G at a mud bog in Abbeville. I've been, it's a great place, only cost $5 to get in, you can BBQ, drink, have a good time and bs.

If anyone has any questions, just ask. I should be able to answer them all.

rbloodhound 04-02-2008 06:08 AM

Are they finaly opening up Duhons?

Morning everyone.

phil6608 04-02-2008 06:14 AM

Tangi Cowboy 04-02-2008 08:42 AM

Tell us more about the mud bog on April 20th, I just looked at the boss's schedule, and she will be available to go with me if we put it together.

rbloodhound 04-02-2008 09:07 AM

Run this by Merrill Lynch !

RETIREMENT PLANNING FOR 2008

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1,000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling, you would have had $214.00.

So, based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan.

I like that Phil!

To bad they don't pay back for empty glass fifths and 1/2 gallons!

I like to sit right under the tree right there on the left. About the only place with shade, unless you bring your own tent.

It's in Abbeville, cost $5 a person to watch, or $10 a truck to go in the mud hole. They have portalets (sp? portable bathroom), a consession stand that sell food and drinks, plenty of parking, a dirt drag track (don't know if they'll be competting on April 20th. I doubt it)

They must be non deposit bottles..:-missingt

Yea, if they gave money back on Absolut 1 liter bottles I would have a hell of a lot more retirement money.

rbloodhound 04-02-2008 05:04 PM

Maybe I can have my truck ready. How do you think that 36" swampers with working limited slips wold do?

phil6608 04-02-2008 05:36 PM

Congrats on your 2200th post Robert.

MBBFord 04-02-2008 05:37 PM

Robert, to tell the truth, as long as you don't hit a hole, you should be able to play in most of it.

The holes are BAD, so people with 36s get stuck, people with 44s get stuck....

I'd just watch for a little while and watch where to stay clear of after everyone gets stuck, then possibly get a couple pics pulling some chevys out, then go in!

rbloodhound 04-02-2008 06:17 PM

Thanks Phil

I may be able to score some 38" boggers. I have a friend that has a set that he hasn't put on his bronco yet. If he happens to be home I will get him to come with his bronco. He's not scared to hit anything.

MBBFord 04-02-2008 06:38 PM

Some times not being scared is a bad thing.

Makes things more fun/interesting, but can also make for a heck of a recovery.

That's the guy with the custom half cab....blue bronco?

By all means, the more the marrier.
