Thermostatic choke heater tube: 351M
 

Does anyone have any experience with bending the choke heater tube that goes between the intake manifold and the choke housing? Can I still purchase such an item? From where?

Hi Fordy,
I bought the whole assembly from East Bay Ford in Oakland CA about 3 years ago. Didn't get the impression that they were going to discontinue these parts, but you can never tell. The parts consisted of the little heater coil that bolts onto the manifold and the return tube. I tried to fix the original, but ran out of patience. Remember to wrap some insulation around the tube.
