Hey, that's cool. I could use a trip to Vegas myself. I've never driven from Cali through Vegas to Utah, but I've taken the northern route, I-80, from here to California. It's like driving on the moon after you leave Reno!

Vegas is a nice place, I lived there for 6 months right off Tropicanna blvd.
Do they still have the helicopter rides over the strip? that was very fun.

Not the I-15......The 95-93 takes you straight north to Reno. Through the above mentioned cities

Yup - right along the Railroad. There are few ways across Nevada east to west.
All those north to south mountain ranges make it tough.
