Fule transfer pump

Any one have a Fill Right pump. I Just got a Fill-Right sd206 pump and the thing makes a lot of noise when I use it. Is this normal? it works well but the noise makes me real nervious. I have it on a 275 tank and would realy hate to have the thing blow with me standing next to it.

I've got one just like it. I used it to pump veggie from the restaraunts and to fuel up my vehicles. How much noise is a lot? How long have you had it and has it always done this?

Just got it. The first time I used it it puked fuel for a second and stopped. I pulled the bypass and that fixed it. It pumps but is loud. Cant tell you how many decibels but its not like the the pumps at a gas stations. You can hear this one no problem and it gets louder when you let go of the handle on the nozzel to stop it from pumping.

If its pumping its fine, they are just loud like that. I have to pull the bypass quite often, as I'm pumping dirty oil, I have to pull it out and stick my finger in and clean it.
