Dates for SMOKIN IN THE SMOKIES.????
 

What are the dates for this years - Smokin in the Smokies And who is planning on going. I'm trying to plan some time off this year to make it. Sounds like everyone had a good time last year, So this event would be a good opportunity to meet some the people from FTE that helps me all year long. :-drink And share a adult beverage or two.

I believe it is scheduled for April 11-12. I will be going unless I scatter parts of my block or transmission across the roadside before then.:rolleyes:

Maevans what is Smokin in the Smokies? The Smokies are in my backyard if its a diesel event id like to be there.

It is a diesel only get together near Gatlinburg. It is at an RV campsite which makes for good adult beverage consumption and smack talk. Live tuning and dyno pulls. Some go to drag strip (1/8) on Friday evening. Bonfire on Saturday night. Well at least that was what happened last year. Here's my truck on the roller at last year's event:

That's exactly what it is. A diesel event in the smokies, or a get together for Diesel junkies, as my better half likes to call it.

Tis' the season to Smoke up the Smokies! It is a Dyno, drag, and gathering above Gatlinburg, mostly people from here and The Diesel Garage. Mike I didn't remember your truck being dynoed last year great picture. I see Chris's ( Rampage_350) truck in the corner. Hey tuff48 where abouts you live in east TN?

I live in sevierville. Im a Police Officer in Gatlinburg so dont nobody get in trouble. Sounds like a fun event ill have to try and make it and see how much hp my cow hauler makes.

Can't wait to see how you do on the track and the dyno this year. Now with the new rules we won't have D-max's hogging up the dyno all day -.- .

The actual dates are April 10, 11, and 12. Thur,Fri,Sat.

Chris(rampage_F350) and I are most likely going to load up make the trip.( I still havent got the official Okeydokey from the wife..... But it is a firm probably) My daughters Bday is an the 8th, so we are going to see if she will have her party the weekend before. If that happens then Chris and I will leave Montgomery Wed after work and get there late wed night. We will be bringing my 5th wheel, and will be staying on site.

I'm pretty sure I'm in. I will probably be in Kris' "convoy" down.

How many is going to be coming down in Kris's convoy, every stroker in MD?
